Celebration in Red & Blue by Camelia Burn
1st to 31st May 2011
Camelia Burn decided to take up photography when work and family life called for a more malleable recreational activity.
Having always been keen on drawing she found that is was possible to express her artistic flair through photography, and normally has a camera to hand. This passion for photography is shared with one of her young sons.
Camelia was a student of Rhubarb and Custard’s School of Photography and an active member of the Windsor Photographic Society.
The images in the exhibition invite the viewer to see things through a different angle and discover the familiar taken in an unfamiliar way. They are characterised through a generous display of colour and connect on various symbolical levels, which are intentionally left for the viewer to uncover.
