Your Tutors, Halid K Izzet & Neil Onslow

Halid K Izzet

Halid is our resident photographer. Having traveled and photographed over 30 different countries, Halid aspires to capture a fresh and inspiring view of the world and its people. From the amazing deserts of Utah, USA, including the infamous yet very rare photos of the petrified sand-dunes of Coyote Buttes, to the Mediterranean paradise of his birth-place of North Cyprus, his intense sensitivity to angles, colours, expressions, contrasts and textures result in an outstanding portfolio of images and emotions.

Neil Onslow

Neil has a Masters Degree in Photography with Distinction and also holds the Fellowship of the British Institute of Professional Photography. Neil has been a commercial photographer and photographic educator for over 35 years and has recently left the University of West London where he was a Senior Lecturer/Course Leader and academic manager for 23 years.
As well as his commercial photographic pursuits Neil is very interested in visually exploring the relationship between photography and identity. Neil’s most recent exhibition, a group show entitled ‘Alice’ at the PM Gallery in Ealing, West London, explored individual notions of perception and specifically for his work one’s relationship to our mirror image.
